DESCRIPTION:<p><span style="font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;">The Port Arthur Public Library (PAPL) has again partnered up with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). &nbsp;The VITA Program is offering free tax preparation services to help low, to moderate-income people, who cannot prepare their own tax returns, including the elderly, the disabled, and those having limited English proficiency. &nbsp;These free tax preparation services will start on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. &nbsp;These services will continue every Thursday, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.&nbsp; The last date for free tax preparations at the Port Arthur Public Library will be Saturday, April 11, 2026</span></p>
