Lost on a field trip to the museum, four children wander onto the mysterious thirteenth floor where they discover a closed Black History exhibit with artifacts of prominent black artists and activists. As the kids handle the items, they magically become the figures, living their history and telling their stories, accompanied by music and songs from the period. The play pays tribute to well-known contributors to our history and encourages youth to acknowledge and appreciate everyday heroes in their lives today.
